Distinguishing Characteristics: Whenever Ophelia uses her ability the color of her hair changes from black ebony color to a very blonde almost white color. This change lingers for about a day, maybe more.
Dress style: Funky, outlandish, rockstar, quirky. Are the best words for Ophelia sense of style. She mixes all kinds of fasion from different eras, blending her Japanese heritage with her clearly American one. More importantly Ophelia is a chick in Brooklyn, likes to feel a little bit of a hipster more importantly a fashion idol for the under ground music scene.

PRIMARY: Electric manipulation- Ability to control, generate or absorb electrical fields.
→ Is able to generate and absorb any form of electric energy, including human beings
→ Can create electric balls of energy and use it as a weapon
→ Has the ability to conduct electricity (i.e. If she holds a light bulb in her hands it would glow)
→ Is able to shock others with physical contact, can jump start the heart or even cause electrical shock. The weakest shock is not much different from a static shock, the strongest is equal to that of a bolt of lightning.

Family History: The Moon family has long been residences of this beautiful city for multiple generations. Long ago the family has earned a place in the city's elite class, old money from American standards that is. This fine family also possessed something other than money, a mutant gene.
Mary-Catherine Elisabeth Moon was a simple woman in her time, she was the only daughter of her beloved parents and because of this when she married her love Henry John Grayson, she maintained her surname. Henry John was the third son out of five and didn't mind dismissing his surname and the couple pasted down his wife's name to their four children. Three girls and a son, Ophelia's father.
Life was perfect for the Moon family until a fire struck their home, burning their Upper Eastside townhouse to the ground killing both Mary-Catherine and Henry John in the process leaving their four children alone in the world. Henry John's family refused to take in the children, they never admitted this out loud but his family knew about the odd family history of Mary-Catherine and refused to take in her tainted children.
Lulu Wilde, a well known actress of the time and one of the cities many great heiresses, came to the children's aid. Mary-Catherine happened to be Lulu's best friend, the two had known one another since childhood. With open loving arms, Lulu took in her friends children Margery Jourdain the oldest was ten, Madeleine Josephine the second born was seven, Marmaduke the only boy was five and Mary Jane the baby was only two.
Affiliations: good, is part of Griffin to revenge her brother's death.
Education: Attended Trinin Liberty Prep from pre-school until the 12th grade, has some college but nothing worth bragging about.
Finance: Ophelia's parents help her out alot with paying the bills and keeping her sheltered. She does work a number of different oddjobs, currently is a part-time bartender at "Hooded Spirits", used to be the bassist for the band "Fall of Icarus" before they broke up. Currently Ophelia is in a project with her three former bandmates and a few new blood.
Personal History: Ophelia was named after her late paternal grandmother Mary-Catherine and her father's most beloved sister Mary-Jane, that being said her family never addressed Ophelia by her first name Mary, instead they addressed her by her second name Ophelia. Her clever siblings and a few cousins often call her Moe, which is short for Mary Ophelia Elizabeth.
The story of her parents is rather sweet and not really exciting. Junko's parents originally came from Japan and moved to New York City for a better life having their only daughter shortly afterwards. She grew up to be a well known fashion designer and became good friends with Mary-Jane Moon, who kindly introduced Junko to her brother Marmaduke. The rest, as they always say, is history.
They named their first child and daughter after the very woman who introduced them and in honor of Marmaduke's mother (who happened to be a Mary as well). Ophelia's childhood was rather typical coming from a loving and supportive home on the Upper Eastside. She attended an elite private school became fast friends with a fellow classmate Liv Wilde, and through the grape vine eventually became really close friends with Pippa Mint.
They don't exactly remember how they met, but the two instantly became best friends. Ophelia always had a passion for music and playing electric instruments, especially the electric bass. The two formed a band, which broke apart and they form another band...which fell apart as well. Thanks to the under ground scene Ophelia became friends and bandmates with Holden O'Rourke and again the rest is history.
Ophelia had always known she was a mutant, the night she was born the hospital experienced a freakish blackout. Electricity has been Ophelia's constant friend ever since. She has great control over her powers, amazingly enjoys using them but is always careful. Her siblings have abilities too. Her youngest brother Mori John was always a bit of a show off.
One day Mori John accidently showed off to the wrong group of people and his foolish actions sent him to the hospital. They experimented on Mori John like a favorite lab rat and thought they cured him with a drug, instead it gave him another ability. For that, they killed him.
Mori John's death affected Ophelia greatly, he was the first to start calling her Moe and the two were rather close growing up. Ophelia joined Griffin to end the Hospital and protect others from Mori John horrible fate. She accomplished this, now isn't so sure what she got herself into.
